ST. LOUIS — A policy holder is suing an insurance company, citing alleged breach of contract.

Willie Harris filed a complaint on July 6 in the St. Louis City Circuit Court against Safe Auto Insurance Company, alleging that the defendant failed to comply with the terms of an insurance policy.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that, his insured vehicle was struck by a motorist who allegedly failed to yield at an intersection on Feb. 1, 2016. The plaintiff then reportedly filed an insurance benefits claim under uninsured motorist coverage, but allegedly failed to receive any compensation despite allegedly having a premium policy that was in effect.

The plaintiff holds the defendant responsible for allegedly refusing to pay benefits under the insurance plan.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment for an amount that will fairly and reasonably compensate for the injuries, plus costs incurred and other relief the court deems necessary. He is represented by Brian Stokes of The Stokes Law Office in St. Louis.
