Car accident 23

ST. LOUIS — A motorist is suing Alisa Ellis, an employee of the St. Louis City Parks Department, for alleged negligence.

Roberto Lacadin filed a complaint on July 10 in the St. Louis City Circuit Court, alleging that defendant negligently caused a truck owned by the City of St. Louis to strike the plaintiff's vehicle.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that he sustained significant injuries to his head, neck, shoulder, torso and limbs on Sept. 27, 2016, resulting in medical expenses, physical and mental pain and loss of enjoyment of life. The plaintiff holds the defendant responsible for allegedly failing to keep a careful lookout and for failing to reduce speed, swerve or stop to avoid colliding with his vehicle.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks damages in excess of $25,000 plus interest, costs and all further relief the court may deem just. He is represented by Nicholas A. Meador of Koller & Meador LLC in Brentwood, Mo.
