Employees at Dangerously Chic LLC accused of assault

ST. LOUIS — A patron is suing Dangerously Chic LLC and it owner, Heidi L. Kidd, citing alleged assault.

Elizabeth A. Meade filed a complaint on July 19 in the St. Louis City Circuit Court, alleging that the the defendants failed to provide a safe environment to its customers.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that she was a business invitee at Kidd's spa and salon on June 7 when her employees intentionally assaulted, battered and restrained her against her will. As a result, Meade claims she suffered physical injuries, emotional and psychological damages and medical expenses. The plaintiff holds the defendants responsible for allegedly failing to train its employees to properly handle customers.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment for actual damages in an amount in excess of $25,000 exclusive of interest, costs, punitive damages in excess of $1 million for pre- and post-judgment interest, costs and for further relief the court deems just.
