ST. LOUIS — A lessee is suing GTS Limited LC and Jean McClendon, property owners, for allegedly breaching a lease and sale agreement.

Acree Kelley LLC filed a complaint on July 18 in the St. Louis City Circuit Court, alleging that the defendants breached its good faith and fair dealing.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that it entered into a lease and sale agreement with the defendants in 2015. The agreement allegedly stipulated that the plaintiff would lease the property for 12 years and then purchase it. The defendant later notified the plaintiff that the U.S. Small Business Administration will not let them transfer ownership.

The plaintiff holds the defendants responsible for allegedly denying the existence of their obligations and for failing to provide possession of the premises or return the plaintiff's money.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks damages in an amount that is reasonable and fair plus interest, costs and all further appropriate relief. He is represented by Mark F. Mueller of the Law Office of Mark F. Mueller LLC in St. Louis.
