ST. LOUIS — A St. Louis consumer has filed a class-action lawsuit against a car care products distributor, citing alleged false representation.
Paul Weishaar filed a complaint individually and on behalf of all others similarly situated in the St. Louis 22nd Judicial Circuit Court against Warren Distributors, alleging it violated the Missouri Merchandising Practices Act.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges his vehicle's windshield wiper fluid's system was damaged and was forced to repair it. The plaintiff holds Warren Distributors responsible because the defendant allegedly falsely advertised that its product would protect the vehicle's windshield wiper fluid system from freezing temperatures.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks order certifying this case as a class action and appoint plaintiff and his counsel as representatives, award for all damages, attorney's fees, costs and interest and all other relief that are just and proper.
