Passenger claims driver drove too fast in St. Louis crash

Car accident 33

ST. LOUIS — A passenger is suing a driver, citing alleged negligence.

Maurice Prymus filed a complaint Aug. 7 in the St. Louis 22nd Judicial Circuit Court against Ivan Page, alleging the driver failed to maintain the vehicle under proper control.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on June 20, 2016, he was severely injured due to the defendant's negligence and carelessness. He sustained injuries to his head, neck and back, resulting in great pain and medical-related expenses. The plaintiff holds Page responsible because the defendant allegedly negligently drove his vehicle at an excessive rate of speed and failed to yield right of way.

The plaintiff seeks damages in an amount to be determined by a jury and any further relief deemed just and proper. He is represented by Gary K. Burger of Burger Law LLC in St. Louis.
