ST. LOUIS — A passenger is suing two motorists, citing alleged negligence.
Darris Miller filed a complaint in the St. Louis Circuit Court against Robert Vickers and Rose Carter, alleging they breached their duties to operate their vehicle in a careful and prudent manner.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on March 16, 2015, he was a passenger in a vehicle driven by Vickers when they were struck by a vehicle driven by Carter in St. Louis. Miller claims he sustained serious injuries to his head and brain, incurred medical expenses and lost wages.
The plaintiff holds Vickers and Carter responsible because the defendants allegedly failed to maintain a careful lookout, failed to yield right of way and failed to slow down, stop or swerve to avoid collision.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against each defendant, for damages in excess of $25,000, plus costs of this action and any further relief as the court deems just and proper. He is represented by Amanda N. Murphy of Goldblatt + Singer in St. Louis.
