ST. LOUIS — A young St. Louis County resident is suing a motorist, citing alleged unpaid claims.

Royal Jenkins, a minor, by and through his next friend and mother, Briona Jenkins, filed a complaint Aug. 23 in the St. Louis Circuit Court against Aram Istephan, alleging the motorist failed to settle the plaintiff's claim.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on July 29, 2016, he was injured due to a vehicle incident caused by the defendant. As a result of the accident, the plaintiff's mother made a claim against the defendant. The plaintiff holds Istephan responsible because the defendant allegedly denies the plaintiff's claim arising from the crash.

The seeks damages for the sum of $20,000. He is represented by J. Bran Wilmoth of Page Law in Kirkwood.
