ST. LOUIS – A driver is seeking damages from a Benton woman after a collision in St. Louis.
Mark Koeln filed a complaint on Aug. 21 in the St. Louis 22nd Judicial Circuit Court against Beverly Mandrell alleging negligence.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Jan. 15, 2015, he was injured when defendant's motor vehicle collided with his vehicle on South Kingshighway. He alleges he sustained injuries to his neck and back causing him pain and suffering and was required to undergo necessary medical and therapeutic care.
The plaintiff holds Mandrell responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to maintain careful lookout, failed to yield to incoming traffic and failed to obey the electric traffic signal.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks monetary relief of more than $25,000 but not more than $75,000, plus interest, and all other relief as the court may deem just and proper. He is represented by James G. Avery of Schultz & Myers LLC in St. Louis.
