Motorist accused of failing to keep a careful lookout in St. Louis crash

Car accident 38

ST. LOUIS — A driver is suing another motorist, alleging a collision resulted in injuries.

Clarence Johnson filed a complaint Aug. 24 in the St. Louis 22nd Judicial Circuit Court against Deborah Tucker alleging she failed her duty to exercise ordinary care while operating her vehicle.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Dec. 24, 2016, he was driving north on North Grand Avenue in St. Louis when her vehicle collided with Johnson's vehicle. As a result, Johnson claims he suffered physical injuries and incurred medical bills.

The plaintiff holds Tucker responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to keep a careful lookout and failed to avoid colliding with another vehicle.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks to recover amounts that are fair and reasonable including court costs, and any other relief deemed just. He is represented by David K. Simkins and Benjamin P. Kates of Wuestling & James LC in St. Louis.
