ST. LOUIS — A driver is suing a tractor-trailer owner and driver, citing alleged negligence.

Chelsea Collins filed a complaint in the St. Louis 22nd Judicial Circuit Court against H-3 Transportation LLC and Huremovic Nurko, alleging Nurko failed to maintain proper control of the tractor-trailer he was driving.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on May 20, 2016, she was traveling southbound on North Ninth Street when Nurko, who was working for H-3 Transportation, struck the plaintiff's vehicle with the tractor-trailer. She sustained injuries to her neck, back, left arm and left leg. The plaintiff holds H-3 Transportation and Nurko responsible because Nurko allegedly made an improper turn, failed to keep a careful lookout and failed to take evasive actions to avoid the accident.

The plaintiff seeks damages of more than $25,000, plus interest, costs and other relief the court may deem proper. She is represented by Matthew J. Sauter of Sauter Sullivan LLC in St. Louis.
