ST. LOUIS — A driver is suing a motorist for allegedly striking a vehicle and causing injuries and damage.

Keith Glaspie Jr. filed a complaint Sept. 22 in the St. Louis 22nd Judicial Circuit Court against Shante Matthews, alleging the defendant failed to exercise ordinary care in the operation of her vehicle to avoid injuring others and their property.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on March 11, 2016, he was driving his Nissan Altima on North Grand Boulevard when the Matthews allegedly caused her vehicle to collide with his vehicle.

As a result, Glaspie claims he suffered physical injuries costing $21,800 in medical expenses and his vehicle was damaged at a cost of $11,089.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment in the amount of $11,089 for vehicle damages and $21,800 for physical injuries, together with court costs and further relief the court deems proper. He is represented by Mark G. McMahon of Law Office of Mark G. McMahon in Clayton.
