ST. LOUIS — A couple is suing a St. Louis-based water machine vendor for allegedly providing an unsafe bottled-water dispenser.

Sandra and Dennis Albers filed a complaint Oct. 2 in the St. Louis 22nd Judicial Circuit Court against Ronnoco Coffee LLC, also known as Clearbrook Natural Spring Water, alleging the defendant provided an unsafe bottled-water dispenser that leaked on the floor and caused a slipping hazard.

According to the complaint, the couple alleges that on Oct. 16, 2012, Sandra Albers was at her employer's office when the defendant provided a bottled-water dispenser that leaked on the floor. She claims she slipped and fell due to the leak.

As a result, Sandra Albers claims she suffered physical injuries that prevented her from attending to her duties as a wife to Dennis Albers.

The plaintiffs hold the defendant responsible because it allegedly provided an unreasonably dangerous product and provided a bottled-water dispenser and a glass container difficult to affix to the dispenser, which cause leaking water.

The plaintiffs seek judgment in an amount over $75,000 that will fully and compensate for the injuries. They are represented by Michael L. McGlynn of McGlynn & McGlynn in Belleville, Illinois.
