ST. LOUIS — A vehicle passenger is suing a motorist, citing alleged negligence.
Tamara Martin filed a complaint Oct. 2 in the St. Louis Circuit Court against Nicole Sonnenberg, alleging the motorist negligently operated her vehicle and caused it to strike the vehicle in which the plaintiff was a passenger.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Oct. 2, 2012, she was a passenger in a vehicle and was stopped at an intersection in St. Louis when the defendant struck the vehicle. Martin claims she sustained injuries to her neck and back resulting in pain, debilitation and medical expenses in excess of $6,755.
The plaintiff holds Sonnenberg responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to maintain a careful lookout, failed to yield and failed to slow down, stop or swerve to avoid a collision.
The plaintiff requests seeks judgment against the defendant in an amount of over $75,000. She is represented by Cecil L. Skaggs of Central West End Law Office in St. Louis.
