ST. LOUIS — A husband and wife are suing Rhymes Heating & Cooling and a company employee, alleging that the defendants' negligence caused an injury collision.
Myong "Anny" Leseure and Larry Leseure filed the complaint on Oct. 5 in the St. Louis 22nd Judicial Circuit Court against Ryan and Rhymes Heating & Cooling, alleging that Ryan failed to maintain proper control of the motor vehicle he was driving.
According to the complaint, the plaintiffs allege that on Oct. 8, 2012, Myong "Anny" Leseure was stopped in the eastbound right lane on Market Street when the motor vehicle owned by defendant Rhymes and operated by defendant Ryan collided with the rear of her vehicle. As a result of the impact, she injured her head, neck, knees, joints and shoulders, causing her to suffer great pain, disability, medical expenses and loss of enjoyment of life.
The plaintiffs hold Ryan and Rhymes Heating & Cooling responsible because Ryan allegedly failed to obey the red light traffic signal, failed to maintain careful lookout and failed to act reasonably at the first appearance of danger.
The plaintiffs request a trial by jury and seek personal and property damages in excess of $25,000, exemplary damages, pre- and post-judgment interest, costs and other appropriate relief. They are represented by Michael B. Katz of MBK & Associates LLC in St. Louis.
