ST. LOUIS — A marketing services company is suing a railroad company, citing alleged breach of contract after installing graphics in railroad cars.

Vision Marketing LLC filed a complaint on Oct. 11 in the St. Louis 22nd Judicial Circuit Court against Iowa Pacific Holdings LLC and Heritage Rail Leasing LLC. The complaint alleges a violation of a contract after the railroad company refused to pay for the services it received.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Oct. 3, they entered into a contract to provide and install graphics on a train owned and operated by the defendants for the sum payment of $28,000. In accordance with the terms of the agreement, the plaintiff completed its work but failed to receive payment for the project despite demands.

The plaintiff holds Iowa Pacific Holdings and Heritage Rail Leasing responsible because the defendants allegedly failed to pay for the reasonable value of its services and materials received and accepted, amounting to $28,000.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment in the sum of $28,000 with pre-judgment interest, costs expended and such other orders the court deems proper. They are represented by Kenneth Leeds of Kenneth Leeds in St. Louis.
