Driver seeks damages for injuries caused in Florissant crash

ST. LOUIS — A vehicle driver is suing another driver, citing alleged negligence.

Tim Walsh filed a complaint Oct. 12 in the St. Louis Circuit Court against Michael Marion, alleging Marion negligently disobeyed a traffic signal.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on July 18, 2016, he was driving on Manresa Lane in Florissant when the defendant collided with his vehicle and caused him to be "thrown about." He sustained injuries to his back, left shoulder, hip and other parts of his body, which caused him to suffer pain, disability and physical impairment, and incurred medical expenses.

The plaintiff holds Marion responsible because the defendant allegedly negligently drove his vehicle at speed greater than reasonable, failed to maintain a careful lookout and failed to stop, reduce speed and take evasive actions to avoid a collision.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against the defendant in a fair and reasonable amount and costs incurred for this action. He is represented by Joseph K. Robbins of The Robbins Law Firm in St. Louis.
