Driver alleges motorist failed to stop at sign in Park Avenue crash

St louis night

ST. LOUIS — A driver is suing a motorist, citing alleged insufficient measures were taken to prevent injuries.

David Roberson filed a complaint Oct. 12 in the St. Louis 22nd Judicial Circuit Court against Kaci Goldinher, alleging she failed her duty to exercise the highest degree of care while operating her vehicle.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Aug. 4, 2016, he was driving westbound on Park Avenue and attempting to cross an intersection when the defendant allegedly drove through the stop sign, causing a collision. As a result, Roberson claims he suffered physical injuries and medical expenses.

The plaintiff holds Goldinher responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to yield the right-of-way, failed to keep a careful lookout and failed slow speed or sound a warning.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment in such amount as is fair and reasonable in excess of $25,000, for costs, and for any relief the court deems equitable and just. He is represented by Kyle Kleefuss of Law Offices of Derald L. Gab PC in St. Louis.
