ST. LOUIS — A vehicle owner is suing an insurance company for alleged breach of contract.
Sharon Mitchell filed a complaint on Oct. 12 in the St. Louis 22nd Judicial Circuit Court against Automobile Club Inter-Insurance Exchange, alleging the defendant breached the contract agreement for not providing compensation for motorist uninsured claims.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on March 8, she suffered serious and permanent injuries due to a rear-end collision with an uninsured motorist. The plaintiff claims his policy insurance with the defendant was in effect during the accident, but he failed to receive any insurance claims for the damages he incurred.
The plaintiff holds Automobile Club Inter-Insurance Exchange responsible because the defendant allegedly failed and refused to pay for damage as agreed and pursuant to the policy.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment for sums deemed fair and reasonable in an amount not to exceed $75,000 including costs incurred. She is represented by Joseph K. Robbins of Robbins Law Firm in St. Louis.
