Great Southern Bank claims customer defaulted on auto loan

Late 03

ST. LOUIS — A bank is suing a customer, citing alleged breach of retail installment contract.

Great Southern Bank filed a complaint Oct. 13 in the St. Louis Circuit Court against Marlon Hardy, alleging Hardy failed to resolve the default within the required time period.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Nov. 11, 2016, the defendant signed a retail installment contract with plaintiff for the purchase of a 2014 Chevrolet Silverado. The plaintiff claims the outstanding balance due is $33.676.06.

The plaintiff holds Hardy responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to make required payments pursuant to the contract and wrongfully retained possession of the vehicle.

The plaintiff seeks the immediate return of the property, damages in the amount of $33.676.06 plus interest, costs and further relief as court deems just and proper. It is represented by David E. Herron II and Daniel S. Rabin of Berman & Rabin PA in Kansas City.
