ST. LOUIS — A motorist is suing another driver, citing alleged negligence.
Jermaine Henderson filed a complaint Oct. 16 in the St. Louis Circuit Court against Dionja Brown, alleging Brown beached her duty to maintain proper control of the vehicle she was driving.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on March 8 he was driving north on Union Avenue near its intersection with Page Boulevard in St. Louis when the defendant suddenly crashed her vehicle into Henderson's vehicle. Due to the impact, Henderson claims he sustained severe injuries to his head, back, neck, knees and other parts of his body.
The plaintiff holds Brown responsible because the defendant allegedly carelessly drove her vehicle at a speed greater than reasonable, failed to maintain a careful lookout and failed to yield right of way.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks damages in an amount that is fair and reasonable, plus interest, costs and any further relief that the court may deem just and proper. He is represented by Raymond Howard of Raymond Howard Attorney At Law in St. Louis.
