ST. LOUIS — A motorist is suing two Florissant, Mo., residents for negligence and causing a vehicle collision that resulted in injuries.
Martha Woodson and Shilie Ingram filed a complaint on Oct. 24, in the St Louis Circuit Court against Kendrick Johnson and Brandee Johnson, alleging that Brandee Johnson negligently entrusted her motor vehicle to a driver who has a suspended license.
According to the complaint, the plaintiffs allege that on Jan. 9, 2015, Woodson and Ingram sustained property damages in the amount of $1,039.50 and personal injuries that caused them to incur additional damages in the sum of $43,000. The plaintiffs hold Kendrick Johnson and Brandee Johnson responsible because Kendrick Johnson allegedly caused the vehicle owned by defendant Brandee Johnson to collide with the plaintiffs' vehicle.
The plaintiffs request a trial by jury and seek judgment against defendants in the amount of $44,039.50, plus costs and all further relief that the court may deem proper. They are represented by Mark G. McMahon and Michael B. Hill of the Law Offices of Mark G. McMahon in Clayton.
