ST. LOUIS – A vehicle passenger alleges she was injured in a crash on Interstate 70 in St. Louis when an unknown motorist cut in front of the driver.
Arnesa Kovac filed a complaint on Oct. 22 in the St. Louis Circuit Court against Arthur Robinson and AAA Insurance alleging negligence.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on May 3, 2015, she was a passenger in a motor vehicle being driven by Robinson on Interstate 70 near the St. Louis Avenue overpass when an unknown motorist cut in front of them. The suit states Robinson swerved and caused his vehicle to collide with a concrete barrier.
The suit states that Kovac was covered under an AAA Insurance policy at the time of the incident. She alleges she has suffered medical expenses of more than $53,418.42, additional medical expenses in the future and other economic and non-economic damages.
The plaintiff holds Arthur Robinson and AAA Insurance responsible because defendant Robinson allegedly failed to maintain his motor vehicle under proper control.
The plaintiff seeks judgment against defendants, jointly and severally, in an amount of more than $25,000 and any further relief that the court may deem just and proper. She is represented by Daniel J. Marsh of Mandel & Mandel LLP in St. Louis.
