ST. LOUIS — A motorist alleges three other drivers are at fault for a rear-end collision that caused injuries.
Darrell Green filed a complaint on Oct. 19 in the St. Louis Circuit Court against Antwaun McLemore, Albert Peter and an unknown driver, alleging that they failed to operate their motor vehicles in a careful and prudent manner.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Oct. 19, 2012, he was driving a motor vehicle heading east on Gravois Avenue beyond its intersection with Nebraska Avenue when the defendants struck the rear of his vehicle. He sustained injuries to his head, left shoulder and neck and suffered physical pain, debilitation and medical expenses, according to the complaint.
The plaintiff holds McLemore, Peter and the unknown driver responsible because the defendants allegedly failed to maintain a careful lookout, failed to yield and failed to slow down, stop or swerve to avoid a collision.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks damages of more than $25,000 plus costs expended for this action. He is represented by Cecil L. Skaggs of Central West End Law Office in St. Louis.
