Carriage house owners sue Innovative Construction & Roofing

Contract 04

ST. LOUIS — A couple who own a carriage house are suing Innovative Construction & Roofing LLC, citing alleged negligence and breach of agreement.

Barbara Ware and David Ware filed a complaint on Oct. 27 in the St. Louis Circuit Court against the contractor, alleging that the firm failed to complete a roofing project in accordance with the agreement.

According to the complaint, the plaintiffs allege that on April 21, 2015, the Wares contracted with the defendant to provide materials and labor necessary to fix the roof of their carriage house. As a result of defendant's breach, the carriage house continued to leak, resulting in damage to its interior and additional deterioration. The plaintiffs hold Innovative Construction & Roofing responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to repair the roof in a sound manner and failed to provide the necessary materials.

The plaintiffs request a trial by jury and seek judgment against defendant in excess of $25,000, plus interest, attorneys' fees, costs and any other relief the court may deem proper. They are represented by Ted F. Frapolli of the Law Offices of Ted F. Frapolli in St. Louis.
