ST. LOUIS — A motor vehicle passenger who sustained injuries in a crash at the intersection of Natural Bridge Avenue and Goodfellow Boulevard is suing the driver of the other vehicle, citing alleged negligence.
Kalil Perkins filed a complaint on Nov. 2 in the St. Louis Circuit Court against Phillip Campbell, alleging that he breached his duty to operate his motor vehicle in a careful and prudent manner.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on May 22, he was a passenger in a motor vehicle traveling east on Natural Bridge Avenue near its intersection with Goodfellow Boulevard when the defendant's vehicle violently crashed into the vehicle. Perkins allegedly sustained injuries to his left wrist and neck, was caused to suffer pain and discomfort, and incurred medical expenses.
The plaintiff holds Campbell responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to maintain careful lookout, failed to yield the right of way, and failed to slow down, stop or swerve to avoid colliding with the other vehicle.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks damages in excess of the jurisdictional limits of the court, plus interest, costs and all other relief that are appropriate. He is represented by Brent E. Labovitz of Defeo and Kolker LLC in Clayton.
