ST. LOUIS — A couple whose Toyota Corolla was damaged in an accident is suing the other motorist, alleging negligence.
Willie and Jusza Pryor filed a complaint on Oct. 30 in the St. Louis 22nd Judicial Circuit Court against Melvin Clark Jr., alleging that the defendant drove his motor vehicle so as to cause it to strike and collide with their car.
According to the complaint, on June 19, 2016, the Pryors allege they were driving on West Page when the defendant's vehicle collided with their car. As a result, the plaintiffs alleged they sustained personal injuries, pain and suffering thereby causing damages for the sum of $100,000.
The plaintiffs hold Clark responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to keep proper control of his vehicle, failed to keep a careful lookout and failed to yield the right of way.
The plaintiffs seek judgment in the amount of $100,000 together with court costs, and any further relief that the court deems just and proper. They are represented by Mark G. McMahon and Michael B. Hill of the Law Offices of Mark G. McMahon in Clayton, Missouri.
