Motorist injured on Locust and 17th Street accident sues

Car accident 43

ST. LOUIS — A motorist is suing another driver citing alleged insufficient measures were taken to prevent injuries.

Frederick Green filed a complaint on Nov. 23 in the St. Louis Circuit Court against Randolph Roberts alleging that the other motorist failed to operate a motor vehicle in a careful and prudent manner.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on April 2 he was traveling westbound on Locust at 17th Street when the defendant, who was coming from the opposite direction, carelessly made a left turn and struck his vehicle. He sustained serious, permanent and disabling injuries to his back, left shoulder, ankle and other parts of his body both internally and externally. The plaintiff holds Roberts responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to yield the right of way, failed to keep vigilant lookout and negligently changed lane when it was not safe to do so.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury; and seeks judgment against defendant in excess of $25,000, costs of this proceedings and all other relief as the court deems fair. He is represented by Christopher Hoffman of The Hoffman Law Firm LLC in St. Louis.
