Car accident 15

ST. LOUIS — A couple is suing a motorist, allegining negligence.

Ana Wiltowski and Brian Wiltowski filed a complaint on Dec. 15 in the St. Louis Circuit Court against Leland Lambert alleging that he failed to exercise the highest degree of care while driving.

According to the complaint, the plaintiffs allege that on Oct. 11, 2016 they were in a Jeep traveling northbound on North Fourth Street approaching its intersection with Convention Plaza when the defendant negligently caused his 2012 Chevrolet Camaro to hit the rear of their vehicle, destroying both vehicles, rendering them inoperable and a total loss. The Wiltowskis allegedly sustained injuries both internally and externally, and incurred substantial medical expenses.

The plaintiffs hold Lambert responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to maintain careful lookout, failed to slacken speed and/or to stop at a red light, and followed their vehicle more closely than reasonable.

The plaintiffs request a trial by jury; and seek judgment in their favor in an amount of more than $25,000, plus punitive damages, costs, attorney's fees and all other relief that is fair under the circumstances. They are represented by Alex Braitberg and Ryan Keane of Keane Law LLC in St. Louis.
