Lil Boosie named in personal injury suit

ST. LOUIS — A man is suing a rapper and his employee, alleging assault and battery.

Louquincy Carr filed a complaint on Dec. 27 in the St. Louis Circuit Court against Torence Hatch, aka Lil Boosie, Shaheem Snype, and Boosie Bad Azz Publishing LLC, alleging that they intentionally inflicted serious injuries to his person.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on March 17, 2017 he was seriously injured when Snype, who was acting in the course and scope of his employment with Hatch and Boosie, punched him in the face. He allegedly sustained serious injuries to his face and eyes that required the insertion of a metal plate; and has incurred substantial medical expenses and lost wages. 

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks damages of more than $25,000. He is represented by Allen H. Surinsky of Allen H. Surinsky PC in Clayton.
