Motorist claims she suffered serious injuries in crash

Car accident 19

ST. LOUIS — A motorist is suing another motorist, alleging negligence.

Shakeisha Bostic filed a complaint on Dec. 26 in the St. Louis Circuit Court against Jack Bruehl alleging that he  failed to keep his motor vehicle under proper control.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Sept. 19, 2017 she sustained injuries when the defendant's motor vehicle negligently collided with her vehicle. She allegedly suffered serious bodily injuries that resulted in pain and suffering.

The plaintiff holds Bruehl responsible because he allegedly failed to maintain careful lookout, failed to yield  the right of way and carelessly attempted to make a left turn when it was unsafe to do so.

The plaintiff seeks judgment against defendant in an amount exceeding $25,000, litigation costs, and any further relief that the court may deem just and proper. She is represented by Jeremy A. Gogel of The Gogel Law Firm in St. Louis.
