ST. LOUIS — An insurance company is suing a motor vehicle driver, alleging insufficient measurers were taken to prevent injuries and damages.
Equity Insurance Company filed a complaint on Dec. 27 in the St Louis Circuit Court against Hope L. Fisher alleging that she failed to operate a motor vehicle in a careful and prudent manner.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that as a result of motor vehicle accident caused by the defendant's negligence, the plaintiff had to pay $59,187.27 for damages to a Jaguar vehicle, injuries sustained by its driver and two occupants.
The plaintiff holds Fisher responsible because she allegedly failed to maintain careful lookout and failed to take evasive actions to avoid collision.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury; and seeks damages in the amount of $59,187.27, plus interest, costs and fees for this action, and all further relief that the court may deem proper. It is represented by Ronald S. Weiss of Berman, DeLeve, Kuchan & Chapman LLC in Kansas City.
