ST. LOUIS — An individual is suing DL Enterprises LLC, doing business as Par Lounge, and Tony Noonan, restaurant operators, citing alleged negligence.
Peter Fowler filed a complaint on Jan. 10 in the St. Louis 22nd Judicial Circuit Court against the defendants alleging that they failed to seek other means of handling a dispute.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Nov. 23, 2017 he was in a verbal dispute with a doorman at the Par Lounge when Noonan discharged a taser gun on him. He allegedly fell to the ground; sustained serious injuries to his right wrist, muscles and ligaments; and incurred medical expenses, lost wages, and pain of body and mind.
The plaintiff holds the defendants responsible because they allegedly failed to adequately warn the plaintiff that he would be tasered, and failed to contact security and/or the police.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury; and seeks compensatory damages of not less than $25,000, plus punitive damages, litigations costs, and any further relief that the court may deem just and proper. He is represented by Zane T. Cagle of The Cagle Law Firm in St. Louis.
