ST. LOUIS — A driver is suing another motorist, alleging negligence.
Otis Dewayne Goff filed a complaint on Jan. 16 in the St. Louis Circuit Court against Natalia A. Staniek alleging that she failed to exercise the highest degree of care under the circumstances.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Nov. 23, 2014 he was operating a motor vehicle on South Jefferson near its intersection with Interstate 44 West in St. Louis City when the defendant collided with his vehicle at the intersection. He allegedly sustained serious and permanent injuries to his head, neck, shoulders, arms and back.
The plaintiff holds Staniek responsible because she allegedly was going too fast for conditions, failed to yield the right of way and failed to keep careful lookout.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury; and seeks judgment against defendant in an amount in excess of $25,000, plus interest, costs, and for whatever relief that the court may deem proper and just. He is represented by Michelle E. Radice of Michelle E. Radice LLC in St. Louis.
