ST. LOUIS — A vehicle driver is suing another motorist, citing alleged negligence in obeying traffic signs.
Chelsea Bonds filed a complaint on Jan. 17, in the St. Louis Circuit Court against Ryan Holiday alleging that the defendant failed his duty to exercise the highest degree of care in operating his vehicle.
According to the complaint, Bonds alleges that, in Oct. 31, 2017, she was driving eastbound on Page Avenue and at a full and complete stop pursuant to a red traffic signal at the intersection of Page and N. Kingshighway when defendant Holiday's vehicle allegedly crashed into the rear of his vehicle.
As a result, Bonds claims she suffered physical injuries, endured pain and suffering and loss enjoyment of life.
The plaintiff holds Ryan Holiday responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to keep a lookout, failed to obey traffic signs, failed to avoid the collision and failed to keep a safe distance form the vehicle in front.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment and award for compensatory damages in an amount to be fair and reasonable more than $25,000; to award of prejudgment interest, costs of action, and to grant such other relief as the Court may deem necessary and proper. She is represented by Benjamin J. Sansone of Sansone Summer & Lauber in Clayton, Missouri.
