Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District trying to collect debt

Contract 02

ST. LOUIS — The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District is suing a customer, citing alleged breach of contract.

The sewer district filed a complaint on Jan. 17 in the St. Louis Circuit Court against Raineth GP Inc., alleging that the company failed to perform its contractual obligations.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that the plaintiff provided sewer, wastewater, storm water and other related services to the defendant at a reasonable price. As of Jan. 11, the company allegedly owes  $151,764.30 on its account with the district.

The plaintiff holds Raineth responsible because despite demands for payments, the defendant allegedly failed and refused to do so.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury; and seeks judgment against the defendant in the amount of $151,764.30, plus additional usage, charges and fees. It is represented by Randall E. Gusdorf of Gusdorf Law Firm LLC in St. Louis.
