2 drivers accused of negligence in intersection accident

Car accident 11

ST. LOUIS — A motorist is suing Ferid Keranovic and Moiz Siddiqui, two drivers, alleging negligence.

Timothy Kane filed a complaint on Feb. 6 in the St. Louis 22nd Judicial Circuit Court against the defendants alleging that they failed to maintain their motor vehicles under proper control.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Oct. 7, 2013 he was stopped on Pestalozzi Street at its intersection with Jefferson Avenue when Keranovic negligently entered the intersection and struck Siddiqui's vehicle, causing it collide with the plaintiff's vehicle. Kane allegedly sustained serious, painful and permanent injuries to his face, nose, eyes, pelvis, neck, back and spine.

The plaintiff holds Keranovic and Siddiqui responsible because they allegedly failed to maintain careful lookout, failed to yield the right of way and failed to take evasive actions to avoid the accident.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury; and seeks damages of not less than $25,000, plus costs of this action, and any further relief as the court deems just and proper. He is represented by R. Tyson Mutrux of Mutrux Finney PC in Clayton.
