2 passengers in Route P crash accuse other driver of negligence

Car accident 29

ST. LOUIS — Two passengers are suing Chad Springer, a motorist, alleging negligence.

Destiny Muller, a minor by and through her father and next friend, Douglas Muller, and Laura Muller filed a complaint on Feb. 9 in the St. Louis Circuit Court against Chad Springer alleging that he failed to operate his motor vehicle in a careful and prudent manner.

According to the complaint, the plaintiffs allege that on Jan. 23, 2017, Destiny Muller and Laura Muller were involved in an accident when the vehicle they were riding in was struck by a vehicle driven by Springer on Route P in St. Charles County. They allegedly suffered severe, permanent and personal injuries and damages.

The plaintiffs holds Springer responsible because he allegedly failed to yield the right of way and carelessly crossed into the path of the vehicle in which the plaintiffs were passengers.

The plaintiffs request a trial by jury; and seek damages of more than $25,000, plus costs of this action, and all further relief that the court may deem just and proper. They are represented by Daniel J. Bruntrager of Bruntrager & Billins PC in St. Louis.
