ST. LOUIS — A motorist is suing another driver, alleging negligence.
Steve Crockett filed a complaint on Feb. 14 in the St. Louis Circuit Court against Asleigh Alphin alleging that she negligently drove her vehicle too fast for conditions.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on March 23, 2017 he was stopped on North Kingshighway Boulevard near its intersection with Cates Avenue when the defendant veered into the rear of his motor vehicle causing him to strike another vehicle in front of him. He allegedly sustained injuries to his neck and back resulting in medical expenses, pain, mental anguish and lost wages.
The plaintiff holds Alphin responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to maintain reasonable distance, failed to keep careful lookout and failed to be attentive while driving.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury; and seeks damages within the jurisdictional limits of the court, and any further relief that the court may deem just and proper. He is represented by Lorenzo Hester of The Hester Group LLC in St. Louis.
