Motorist for negligence after car accident

Car accident 09

ST. LOUIS — A motorist is suing David Crafts for alleged negligence.

Stephanie Gary filed a complaint on Feb. 22 in the St. Louis Circuit Court against David Crafts, alleging that the other motorist breached his duty to operate a motor vehicle in a careful and prudent manner.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that she was driving her motor vehicle on June 17 when the defendant allegedly struck her vehicle. She sustained serious and permanent injuries to her cervical spine, lumbar spine, left hip, left shoulder, left torso and neck. The plaintiff holds the defendant responsible for allegedly failing to keep a proper lookout and yield right of way.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks damages of more than $25,000, plus the costs of this action and any further relief the court deems just and proper. She is represented by William K. Meehan of Meehan Law Firm in University City.
