Passenger in car rear-ended on Gravois sues

Car accident 38

ST. LOUIS — A passenger is suing Davaa Nvanbold, a motorist, alleging negligence.

Kilwanda Marshall filed a complaint on Feb. 28 in the St. Louis 22nd Judicial Circuit Court alleging that Nvanbold breached his duty to exercise reasonable care while operating a motor vehicle.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Feb. 20, 2017 she was a passenger in a motor vehicle that was lawfully stopped on Gravois Avenue when the defendant caused his vehicle to rear-end their vehicle. She allegedly sustained injuries that caused her to suffer decreased function and mobility, pain and suffering, and damages in excess of $25,000.

The plaintiff holds Nvanbold responsible because the defendant allegedly negligently operated his vehicle at an excessive rate of speed, failed to keep proper lookout, failed to reduce speed and failed to sound warning of his approach.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury; and seeks damages of not less than $25,000, and all other relief that the court may deem just and proper. She is represented by Kyle Kleefus of the Law Offices of Derald L. Gab in St. Louis.
