ST. LOUIS — A motor vehicle driver is suing another driver, alleging negligence.
Christopher Venuto filed a complaint on March 2 in the St. Louis 22nd Judicial Circuit Court against Broderick Lee Griffin alleging that the other driver failed to maintain his motor vehicle under control.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on April 3, 2017, he was operating his motor vehicle traveling westbound on Pine approaching its intersection with 10th Street when the defendant carelessly attempted to make a left turn and collided with his vehicle. He allegedly sustained serious and permanent injuries to his cervical spine, thoracic spine, neck, back and right shoulder; and incurred medical expenses in excess of $7,600. T
he plaintiff holds Griffin responsible because the defendant allegedly negligently made an improper left turn when it was not safe to do so, failed to keep proper lookout and failed to yield the right of way.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury; and seeks damages of not less than $25,000, plus costs of this action, and any further relief that the court may deem just and proper. He is represented by Julie L. Siegel of Frankel, Rubin, Klein, Dubin, Siegel & Payne PC in St. Louis.
