ST. LOUIS — A patron is suing City Museum LLC, an amusement park operator, citing alleged negligence.
Krista David filed a complaint on Feb. 23 in the St. Louis 22nd Judicial Circuit Court alleging that the amusement park operator failed to abide by building codes to ensure the public's safety.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Oct. 14, 2015 she was attempting to go down a large slide at the defendant's property when she was injured when she hit her son who was stuck trying to free his shirt, which was caught by a wire structure. She allegedly sustained severe injuries to her right leg and ankle that resulted in extensive medical care and treatment expenses.
The plaintiff holds City Museum responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to make the slide reasonably safe and failed to warn the public of the dangerous condition.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury; and seeks damages of more than $25,000, plus interest, and any further relief as the court deems just and proper. She is represented by Mark A. Cantor of Cantor Injury Law LLC in St. Louis.
