Motorist seeks damages over I-55 collision from Havin Material Service

Car accident 26

ST. LOUIS – A driver is seeking damages from a company after a collision on Interstate 55 in St. Louis.

Kerry Easter filed a complaint on March 28 in the St. Louis Circuit Court against Havin Material Service Inc. alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Oct. 2, 2017, she was driving a motor vehicle traveling northbound on I-55 when she was struck by the vehicle driven by defendant's employee. She alleges she sustained injuries to her head, neck, back, legs and right shoulder.

The plaintiff holds Havin Material Service Inc. responsible because the defendant's employee allegedly negligently operated the vehicle at an excessive rate of speed, failed to maintain careful lookout and failed to yield to the right of way.

The plaintiff seeks damages in a fair and reasonable amount and all further relief as the court deems proper and reasonable. She is represented by Spencer E. Farris of The S.E. Farris Law Firm in St. Louis.
