Man alleges he sustained head, neck injuries in St. Louis collision

Car accident 04

ST. LOUIS – A man alleges another driver attempted to go around him in the center lane and struck his driver's side door.

Eric C. Davis filed a complaint on April 5 in the St. Louis Circuit Court against Karen Lavonda Williams alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on July 24, 2017, he was traveling on North Vandeventer Avenue and was stopped to make a left turn on Evans Avenue in St. Louis when the defendant carelessly attempted to enter the center lane and struck the driver's side door of his vehicle. He alleges he sustained injuries to his head, face, neck, shoulders and back.

The plaintiff holds Williams responsible because the defendant allegedly followed his vehicle too closely and failed to maintain careful lookout.

The plaintiff seeks damages of more than $25,000, medical expenses of $9,515 and loss wages of $873, plus costs of this action and any further relief as the court deems just and proper. He is represented by Herman L. Jimerson of Jimerson Law Firm in Clayton.
