ST. LOUIS – A property owner alleges a company that owns a neighboring property unlawfully constructed a fence.

Waterman-Delmar LLC filed a complaint on April 17 in the St. Louis Circuit Court against Tanjiers LLC seeking declaratory judgment and alleging trespass and interference with easement.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that the defendant has permitted contractors to drive on the grass on the plaintiff's property on Delmar in St. Louis and installed a fence blocking its use of property on the plaintiff's property.

The plaintiff holds Tanjiers LLC responsible because the defendant allegedly unlawfully entered the plaintiff's property without authorization and created a physical interference with the plaintiff's use of the property.

The plaintiff seeks actual and punitive damages of more than $25,000, plus interest, attorney's fees, costs and all further relief as the court may deem appropriate. It is represented by Gregory Anderson of Law Office of Gregory Anderson LLC in St. Louis and Katharyn B. Davis of Davis Travaglini LLC in St. Louis.
