ST. LOUIS – An invitee at a St. Louis condominium and apartment complex alleges he was injured because of a pothole in the garage.

Daniel Wood filed a complaint on April 13 in the St. Louis Circuit Court against The Laurel Master Condominium Association alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on July 14, 2015, he was an invitee at defendant's parking garage and tripped and fell when his foot became stuck in a pothole. He alleges he suffered serious, painful and permanent injuries to his right ankle and right foot and incurred medical expenses.

The plaintiff holds The Laurel Master Condominium Association responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to adequately inspect and maintain the parking lot, failed to remedy the condition and failed to barricade or repair the condition.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against the defendant in an amount of no less than $25,000. He is represented by Michael J. Sudekum of Mandel & Mandel LLP in St. Louis.
