Man alleges head, neck and back injured in St. Louis rear-end collision

Car accident 33

ST. LOUIS – A driver alleges a collision in St. Louis was caused by another motorist's failure to maintain a careful lookout.

Dwight Lockett filed a complaint on April 19 in the St. Louis Circuit Court against Robert Deutsch alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Oct. 3, 2016, he was driving a motor vehicle traveling southbound on Union when his vehicle was struck in the rear by defendant's vehicle. He alleges he sustained injuries to his head, neck and back as a result of the collision.

The plaintiff holds Deutsch responsible because the defendant allegedly followed his vehicle too closely, failed to maintain a careful lookout and failed to apply brakes to avoid a collision.

The plaintiff seeks damages in an amount in excess of the jurisdictional limits of the court and all further relief as the court deems proper and just. He is represented by Lorenzo Hester in St. Louis.
