Driver alleges motorist failed to yield in St. Louis accident

Car accident 32

ST. LOUIS – A driver alleges she sustained injuries to her spine after her vehicle was struck while sitting at a red light in St. Louis.

June A. Jones filed a complaint on April 19 in the St. Louis 22nd Judicial Circuit Court against Claire M. Flores alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on April 23, 2013, she was operating her motor vehicle traveling on Forrest Park Boulevard and was stopped at its intersection with Spring Avenue when defendant's vehicle collided with hers. She alleges she sustained injuries to her cervical spine, lumbar spine, ligament, tendons and tissues as a result of the accident.

The plaintiff holds Flowers responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to yield to the right of way and carelessly drove at a rate of speed too high for the circumstances.

The plaintiff seeks damages in a sum of more than $50,000, plus costs of this action. She is represented by Collins H. Robinson in St. Louis.
