ST. LOUIS – A woman alleges she was injured at a St. Louis gym because of a trainer's negligence.

Melissa Moody filed a complaint on April 12 in the St. Louis Circuit Court against Dynamic Fitness Management LTD and Ian Hamilton alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on May 5, 2013, she was a customer at Club Fitness in St. Louis and was receiving training from Hamilton, an employee of Dynamic Fitness Management. She alleges she was injured after push-pressing 85 pounds.

The plaintiff holds Dynamic Fitness Management LTD and Hamilton responsible because Dynamic Fitness Management alleged failed to property train Hamilton and Hamilton failed to consider and assess the plaintiff's physical ability and limitations.

The plaintiff seeks damages of no less than $50,000, plus costs and any further relief that the court may deem proper and just. She is represented by Anthony G. Laramore of A.G. Laramore LLC in St. Louis.
